One of the biggest challenges for new brands is getting noticed in a crowded market.
It’s not easy being new as they say, particularly in a crowded market. And over the last few years we have seen a large rise in the number of new gin brands across the UK.
Which was precisely the brief facing Sable&Hawkes when we were asked to come up with packaging concepts for a new range of gins for the Elveden Estate. Elveden aims to be a world-class producer and purveyor of local and regional food excellence with a strong reputation for wildlife conservation, working in harmony with sustainable farming practices. And Elveden is passionate about great food and drink. All their produce is grown, reared or created with the utmost respect for the environment.
All factors which made Elveden an obvious choice for food with a unique story. And provided us with our creative brief.
A key essential for creating a strong brand identity is that it not only stands out but remains memorable over time. Which meant we needed to lean on the unique factors that came together to create the Elveden gin story to bring a richness and authenticity to our solutions. Combining a strong visual presence with the depth of an authentic story is a strong approach for delivering the distinction and saliance our client was looking for.
