How do you visual a digital factory?

Imagine a factory you never have to pour concrete for. In biotech, much of the testing and validation can run in software. That’s a digital factory: a working, digital environment where teams execute, test, automate workflows and prove compliance, without laying a single cable.

One of our clients needed to stand up test-automation and software-validation fast to protect uptime and strengthen compliance. They had the platform; our brief was to create a clear visual interface that people could understand and operate with confidence.

Our solution

We designed an interface that makes the ecosystem visible at a glance: interlocking blocks and evolving pyramid forms that assemble into a single, coherent whole, showing how testing, data and controls connect, change and scale.

Layers and columns express structure; modular tiles highlight flows across stages (monitoring, recording, visualising, control), so complex processes read as simple, connected steps.

Sable&Hawkes have been working with the healthcare, biotech and life sciences sector for nearly 20 years and it is that experience and our ability to understand the complex and then communicate it in such a distinctive, clear and accessible way that has proven invaluable to our clients. Our in-house team translates scientific concepts into stunning, easy-to-understand visual assets; helping our clients explain and promote their science and their businesses, secure start-up funding, create truly distinctive websites and proposals and recruit the best possible staff.
