My lessons in life (2025)

If time and tide has taught me anything this year it’s that it’s always worth hanging on to the small learning lessons we pick up along the way.

Year-end feels like a good moment to share mine from this year.

1 Kindness is a superpower.
2 Don’t litter.
3 Take a break from anything electronic that talks to other people at least twice a week.
4 Always give credit and take responsibility.
5 And thank the bus driver.
6 Win well, lose well.
7 Invest in good luggage.
8 Never gloat.
9 Dogs rule.
10 Memorise your favourite poem.
11 And get a library card – they’re awesome.

Thanks to everyone we’ve worked with this year – have a good break and see you in 2026.
